There are a few versions of how this oak tree appeared by the Rdviliskis railroad. The first one is that the oak tree was planted by Lithuanian soldiers in November
1919 to mark the soldiers victory in the battle over bermontians.
The second one is that the oak tree was planted to mark Lithuanias one year Independence anniversary in 1919. Everyone from a railroad job was involved in planting the tree.
The third theory was that the oak tree was planted to mark lithuanias 10 year Independence anniversary in 1982.
The last theory about this oak tree was that it was named "Vilnius Oak" and was planted in Spring 1924.
The Lithuanian organisation decided to create a plan where they would plant oak trees around lithuania. For the fifth year anniversary of Lithuanias Independence, there was a campaign
to plant trees across lithuania.
No matter how many theorys there will be, there is one fact for sure, that this tree should be named an Independence tree.
