Kelmė Manor Ensemble is a state-protected cultural heritage object, valued as a rarely preserved baroque- style Lithuanian provincial manor homestead. To this day, nine buildings of this homestead of the manor period survived. Kelmė manor is the place where the uprising of 1863 against Tsarist Russia first started in Lithuania. In 1936, the Riflemen’s Union House housed the first Kelmė Museum. Visitors to Kelmė Manor Museum are familiarised with the only exposition of Indian culture in Lithuania. Tourists are involved into the carousel of Indian games, quizzes, treated to Iroquois cakes, mate tea with honey, overwhelmed by ardour while shooting a bow and arrows at bison silhouettes.
