It is a protected state natural heritage object located in Klovainiai town, Pakruojis district. The tree grows in a small park near Klovainiai Church on Pusalotas Street.
The oak is a popular meeting place for locals. On the State day townspeople and guests gather around it to sing the National Anthem. In the sources of the 1980s it was found that the height of the Clown Oak was 28 meters and volume of barley - almost 6 meters. The naturalists calculate that a tree can be around for hundreds of years. It is said that a bell was hanging on its branches during the time of serfdom inviting serfs to work.
