The Memorial Museum of Lazdynų Pelėda was opened in a residential building of Paragiai Manor House restored back in 1966.
Lazdynų Pelėda is a unique phenomenon in the history of the Lithuanian literature. Two sisters (maiden name Ivanauskaitė) - Sofija Pšibiliauskienė and Marija Lastauskienė signed and published their pieces of prose by common pseudonym, Lazdynų Pelėda.
Today, there is an exposition of reproductions and photo canvases of the paintings by the father of Lazdynų Pelėda in the Museum.
Various utensils used in everyday life have been collected in the barn. Furthermore, the visitors are welcome to take part in the educational activities:
- „From a flax seed up to clothes. Weaving“;
- „Elder tree, food and medicine. Tasting“;
- Production of book marks.
