The museum is located in the stables of the Kurtuvėnai Manor. Those who would like to learn more about the history of the stables and its inhabitants, are welcome to join a guided tour at the Live Horse Museum, educational programmes “Friendship with a Horse” and “Horseshoe Luck”. There are over 30 horses living here. There is a horse riding school and individual lessons are provided. You can ride a horse, an authentic coach, an old-fashioned carriage or a carriage with a pair of horses. Horse trips following the trails of the regional park are organised. Private horses can be kept here. Every summer, educational horse riding camps for children are organised. Horse racing competitions of various levels – triathlon, show jumping, endurance horse riding competitions – are held here. Throughout the year, you can ride a horse in any weather. Horse riding classes in cold or rainy weather take place in an indoor hall. The museum is open Wednesdays to Sundays from 12:00 to 17:30. It is closed Mondays to Tuesdays.
