The chapel was built in 1853 by priest L. Narbutas. It is located in the center of the functioning town cemetery. It is rectangularr-shaped with arched windows near the roof. In the beginning the burial began around the chapel, and later on, in 1925, the cemetery was enlarged and consecrated by P. Karevicius. The entrance was from the side of the road and later, as the cemetery expanded, it was entered from the side of the church.
