The stone has several dents resembling a footprint of a child. People used to say that these footprints have been left by God before ascending into heaven or by an angel who landed on the stone. During the construction of Ribiškiai pond, the stone was taken away. In 2008, by the initiative of Kurtuvėnai community, the stone with “the Footprint of God” was brought back and put at the foot of Rimas’ hill, near its original location.
